Dear Mr

Many thanks for your efforts in responding to my letter.

Thank you for pointing out that the fault was down to wear and that it was not a `sudden` failure.  By stating that, you have stated that the part has actually failed and that it has been failing for some time.

It is always disappointing when you buy something with the promises of cover in case of failure, to find that cover non existent.

I have purchased a used vehicle that has only travelled 50,000 miles and as such should be in a condition which reflects its price and age.  Turbo units should not fail at only 50,000 miles.  I know plenty of people who’ve got Turbo Diesels which have done over double that, and their Turbo units are still fine.

If you do not cover the turbo unit, and the rear break cylinder, then I will have no option to take you to court over it.  You have broken your contract with me.  I will be claiming full costs of the car repairs and the inconvenience, stress, and costs to me for not having possession of my car for over three weeks.

You now have until Friday 23rd January 2004 to provide a reasonable response before I file a lawsuit against yourselves, Carcraft and GE Capital.

I trust you will re-consider your options.

Yours sincerely,
