4 YEARS LATER - THE COMPLAINTS STILL ROLL IN!
I have been overwhelemed by the number of complaints that I still receive.
I have not touched this website in a couple of years. Yet still people are coming to me with complaints and asking for advice.
It it apparant to me that Carcrafts practices and Customer Services have not changed since the difficulties I had with my car all those years ago.
However the company is going from strength to strength and getting bigger and bigger. So they must be doing something right!
I will still leave this site up, to give people the opportunity to read what others are really saying about Carcraft.
I have yet to receive any email saying that they bought a car, was happy with the price and the aftercare service.
I have updated the Other Experiences section with these emails to show people who still continue to find this site, that carcraft have many unhappy customers!
I hope this site will continue to help people make a more informed choice when choosing where to buy their next car.
I hope to raise awareness, that a lot of people have had issues with getting warranty claims accepted.
And most of all, I hope this website provides some level of comfort for those who are currently going through a hassle with this company, to konw that they are not alone!

THE CAR FROM CARCRAFT IS DEAD!
Since the last update in June, the car from Carcraft has suffered further technical issues. Another service and MOT cost £500 to resolve problems with the radiator (which was falling to bits). Problems with the rear shock absorbers. Failed its emissions test and wipers were no good. It also needed its other Break Cylinder doing. Its also had a new battery.
Then before Christmas the engine developed a knocking sound and caused by some problems with the oil. And its going to cost a little bit of money to get that fixed - ie the garage told me it needs a new engine ideally.
So thats it.. I`m shut of the bloody crappy pile of rust. Tomorrow I pick up my nice shiney BRAND NEW car. And funnily enough its not come from Carcraft. Its a sad state of affairs though because this car that i was hoping would last 5 years didnt even manage 2 years.
So thats it. As in 24 hours I will have no further connection with Carcraft. I dont have a finance agreement with them. I dont have a warranty with them. And most importantly I wont have a car from them!
However, I'm always interested to hear of your Carcraft experiences, so please keep emailing them to me. I'm still receiving them!! I will keep adding them to the site. But other than that there wont be any further updates after this. Unless something really funny happens like Carcraft go bust :)
I therefore end this site wishing good luck to anyone who buys a car and my sincere commiserations to anyone driving around with a Carcraft sticker in their rear window!
I'd just like to also thank everyone for their support and to thank everyone who has read through the site. I hope it has been an informative site and I hope it has helped a lot of people.
I`d also like to point out that this site is costing me absolutely nothing to keep it here and therefore it may aswell stay up online on the internet like a permanent scar :) I hope youre reading CarcrafT! Because you have put a permanent scar in my head.
Catcha laters..

THEY`RE TRYING TO TAKE THE SITE DOWN AGAIN!
Well it seems even moving the site on a norweigan server isnt going to stop them. I say 'them' because I cannot be
certain as to who it is. But they are trying to silence me again by taking this site down. The host for this site
has received a formal complaint form a UK law firm in regards to this very site you are reading now. They really are
trying to silence me and trying to silence my freedom of speech. I will re-itterate to anyone reading this site. This
site only contains a TRUTHFUL account of everything that went on with carcraft at the beginning of this year. If the
company do not want a bad reputation then they should treat their paying customers fairly. Powertech who currently
host the site are currently having a look into it in regards to ensuring all the content is legal.
I am a UK citizen,
in an EU state, member of NATO & the commonwealth served under democracy AND I HAVE A DAMNED RIGHT TO MY FREEDOM OF SPEECH AND I WILL NOT BE SILENCED FROM TELLING PEOPLE OF MY EXPERIENCE WITH CARCRAFT.
Car update: The battery died in the car I bought from Carcraft. Just gave up the goat at a petrol station, so I had to
call out my roadside recovery people who got it going again. Seemes the battery was dead. Anyway, no major complaints
really. The cars over 5 years old, it was its original battery, batteries are consumables. So I`ve fit another one today
with great difficulty as all the battery housing has rusted away grrr.

SITE UPDATE
Well the amount of traffic to this site since its on its new URL has dramatically dropped. I think this is for a number
of reasons. It will take the search engines some time to find the new pages and not everyone will link directly to the
homepage where the counter is. So the site has probably been a lot busier than indicated. Emails are still flowing in
from time to time from site visitors also having problems with Carcraft. Also it has now been 6 months since the events
took place and many people previously were logging on daily for the latest updates to My Carcraft Experience.
I can now reveal (and I`ve been itching to do this for a long time) that in February 2004 I was approached by the BBC
in regards to My Experience and this website. I did a TV interview for them to air on their news program. It was
to be aired in conjunction with Carcraft of Leeds official opening. Unfortunately due to available air time, some legal difficulties and the fact that the story ended up being much bigger than expected - the story was dropped. However
the BBCs Inside Out program did pick the story up but I do not know whether they did anything with it. Some readers of
the site who emailed me may have been contacted by the BBC also. They were wanting to gather as much information and
as many contacts as possible against carcraft. I also was informed that BBC Wathdog were investigating Carcraft also.
I spent some time working with the BBC and had passed on a lot of the emails that people had sent to me as a result of
this site. They were very interested in my story, the creation of this website and the response it provided from
fellow victims of this company. I sincerely hope no one minded me passing on their carcraft problems onto this media
organisation, but it does seem the media is interested and any help from them is a very good thing. A companies
reputation is as important as their profit and they will do anything to protect it.
The new number plates are on order! I have ordered replacement number plates for my car which will replace the
originals with Carcraft at the bottom with http://www.MyCarcraftExperience.co.uk instead! I`m also looking at a rear
window sticker also advertising the site - to replace Carcrafts window sticker (I pulled that out a long time ago!).
So if you see a Fiat Punto driving about with the MyCarcraftExperience website over it then you`ll know that you are
looking at the famous car which has been the centre of this site for so long.
I'm looking at expanding this website further. Not only is it My Experience, I want it to be about other peoples too.
If you are currently having difficulties with Carcraft, then please Contact me and If you wish I can set you up a placeholder
on the site which you can update daily as to whats happening with the issues and progress that you may be having. It
could proove to be a great thing - the site has in the past developed media attention. Not just from a local newspaper
but from the biggest broadcaster in this country.
The MOT is due on my car next month.... Dreadding it! If any faults are found.. its still under warranty with Carcraft! I will keep you posted!

My Carcraft Experience is re-launched!
Welcome, to the relaunch of the Carcraft experience website. Since being closen down by Demon Internet, I have relaunched the site on its own domain, a new server and most of all, its been given a complete face lift with a fantastic new slick design. It was a some other disguntled Carcraft customers that helped me get this site re-launched. So a big thank you to all of those people who have helped make this possible. It is amazing what happens when we all stick together! This section will keep you up to date with the progress of the site as well as any other media coverage / news in regards to Carcraft. So please keep checking back here. If theres anything you think should be here, then please feel free to contact me.
